Sort of a conspiracy movie I believe, well done I really think this movie has a future and I hope you continue in the making of them. It was pretty well drawn and animated for a first submission, characters were indeed as in Madness, which makes animations simpler, not dealing with elbows and knees. It was also a film about politics and current events which isn’t often done, I truly hope you don’t fail us and continue this series. Keep it up.

Stats:

Graphics: 8, As I said before it was well drawn in it’s limbless form, also well animated and perfectly suitable for this kind of flash movie.

Style: 7, A strong fell of conspiracy in the movie, treachery and everything, rather new and innovative.

Sound: 9, Voices were very good, very diplomatic. Again, perfect for the movie…

Violence: 7, The killing of the 2 people ( political issues ) was convincing.

Interactivity: 7, Lots of buttons to help navigate this film, I think all movies should have it. Good job.

Humor: 2, I trust this wasn’t meant to be funny, so as a review criterion it’s rather pointless.

Overall: 8, Great movie, can’t wait to see the next one.

"Nice DBZ tribute."

A nice fighting movie and a tribute to DBZ, sadly you neglected the fourth and fifth stage of power they can reach ( I haven’t watched the show in ages, so I don’t know if there are any more past that ) but I do know they turn into big apes on the next, and to small red kind of ape/humans on the fifth, still a great movie to watch if you are a DBZ fan boy or a random watcher.

Stats:

Graphics: 8, Well drawn, no arms or legs which reminded me of Rayman, bust just me simple to animate this well, which turned out well as the animation of the movie is rather good.

Style: 7, A fighting movie, probably based on the series plot, I hope you won’t mind I suggest this be added to the DBZ section of NG?

Sound: 7, Good music and sounds, overall very suiting, I don’t think it went too far.

Violence: 7, Plenty of hand to hand combat, though not really realistic. Basic DBZ thing, fighting. A little more blood could have made it better, I mean they fight with huge energy balls but no blood? Still, not too shabby.

Interactivity: 3,A play button, as always.

Humor: 2, This was more action than humor for a movie so I believe humor isn’t a big part here.

Overall: 7, Good tribute to DBZ and good work overall, keep it up.

"Great serious short."

The graphics are simple but sufficient. Animation was well done and the topic was emotional and dramatic, I liked it. Plenty of gun fire though because it is sort of a war movie. Overall, very good work.

Stats:

Graphics: 7, While the drawings were simple in the coloring and all, they were just enough and nothing too fancy, same with the animation, simple but the points is that we didn’t needed any more.

Style: 7, A war movie I believe, pretty good, it reflects war without saying a single word.

Sound: 8, The music was great and sounded like one of those silent moments in a movie, no voices or dialogue though.

Violence: 9, Lot’s of death and shooting, but same with any war.

Interactivity: 3, A play button, I’m getting sick of saying that so much.

Humor: 0, It wasn’t supposed to make people laugh, and it didn’t, I think the amount of seriousness you showed here can’t make any one laugh of the subject.

Overall: 8, Very good movie, speaks of war perfectly, I hope you continue making them.

"Not bad for its age."

Best 6 year old flash movie I’ve ever seen. It was well animated, pretty funny, and interesting though short. Really a shame you didn’t make much flash. After all, you do have some talent in it.

Stats:

Graphics: 8, Very well done in the means of both drawings and animation. Blood was also well drawn.

Style: 7, Another Poke-killer. Which is nice but I’m not sure it can be in a collection, it was funny and short, overall nice.

Sound: 8, The Voices and growls of sort were well placed, gun fire noise, all the usual.

Violence: 9, Well you killed Pika, of course there is violence in it, but we like it.

Interactivity: 3, A play button, but seeing as this is a very short movie, I don’t believe it needs more.

Humor: 7, Pretty funny, growl vs. Pika sounds. I think the bean won, I liked all the pieces the gun tore off of him at the end.

Overall: 8, A pretty good flash, especially since it very old, I think you should have kept making flash.

"Great for a Sprite."

For a Sprite movie, this was one of the best I’ve seen. The plot was very good and captivating, the animation of the sprites was also well done. Hopefully you won’t mind I suggested this to the NG Sonic the hedgehog collection, so more people will be able to see it.

Stats:

Graphics: 8, These were sprites but I’d say you used them well. So keep up the good work with them and maybe you’d prefer to switch to regular flash eventually.

Style: 9, As you said these were Dramatic and clearly that was the style you wanted to demonstrate to us, successfully.

Sound: 8, Background music sounds well, dramatic, with a hint of metal when actions sequences come. It varied perfectly during the whole movie

Violence: 8, Lot’s of fighting and blood but placed just right, I’m running to see the next one, and few movies ever made me do that.

Interactivity: 6, a bunch of buttons when you need them, more than I could ask for.

Humor: 2, I can’t say I laughed much, though I was fascinated.

Overall: 9, Great movie, you know your way around sprites, dashing to see the next one.

Pretty funny, short and to the point, I think it wasn’t bad, I think you synchronized the sound to the movie very well, the animation was nice, drawings normal, and plot… Well plot was self explanatory by the movie title. Nice enough.

Stats:

Graphics: 8, Well drawn, well animated, simple yet good, the key to a good animation.

Style: 7, Kind of funny, defiantly a humorous movie, and a good one too.

Sound: 8, The music was well synchronized to the movie… That’s all there is to say about audio.

Violence: 0, Unless the armadillo and the potato start fighting I’d say this is violence free.

Interactivity: 3, A play button.. As always, the same old play button… This is my 17th review today, and the last thing I need is to start talking about play buttons.

Humor: 7, Funny, based on the song, I’m sure the creators of the song would like to see it too.

Overall: 7, Good movie, short but so is the song. Interesting that I’m pretty sure when you submitted it, I saved it. Just randomly reviewing it now to boost my reviews.

"Decent flash."

A funny parody about energy drinks, very nice. I liked the drawings that were in a middle class but still very nice, so was the animation that worked out quite well. I know making a parody is never easy and I admire your work just for that. Keep up the admirable work.

Stats:

Graphics: 8, A parody movie’s graphics has to be good, and this movie delivers. I really liked the drawing and animation.

Style: 7, A very well done parody, Keep making parodies, you seem to do them quite well.

Sound: 6, The voices were alright, nice enough to listen to undisturbed. Just what it needed.

Violence: 6, A couple of explosions, but tastefully placed.

Interactivity: 3, A play button, I don’t think you need any more

Humor: 7, seeing is this is a parody, it made me laugh, good work.

Overall: 7,Good work, I enjoyed the movie, glad you kept making them.

"Pretty nice."

It was a nice funny movie that did show the harms and disadvantages of owning a hummer, though it’s perfect for any one who can’t drive well, it is an SUV yet no one bothers to use it off road, I find that horrible illogical, if only people used it off road it could be useful, but a hummer on the road means you are way too rich for your own good. Nice movie overall, keep up the good work.

Stats:

Graphics: 8, Well drawn as well as well animated. Good motion of the car, the people and everything that was needed really. Great work.

Style: 7, A funny movie meant to be that way, whatever style you wanted it to have, you did. Filled with humor and yet has a moral, one must love this.

Sound: 6, A nice song though I couldn’t make any connection between it and the movie. Random? A song that sounds well but has no meaning to the movie, may I offer the audio portal?

Violence: 8, Plenty of gore, blood and much more. Great pure violence. People run over, getting their heads smacked against car doors, is this a movie or “Def Jam: Fight for New York”?

Interactivity: 3, A play button. That’s about it. I’d suggest you add quality, control scene select and music on/off buttons. But that’s just one man’s opinion.

Humor: 7, Funny little movie made to show us the wrongs of our ways of use of SUV’s. Brings a smile to your face as you watch it, perfect in that department.

Overall: 7, Good movie that can only help. I liked it, keep working.

"Not that great."

This was a very one sided game, no way I could find to lose, obvious things to do, no real possibilities. Just a one sided road. The plot wasn’t too bad, but the game play needs work, lots of work. It needs to have real options, like the possibility to lose, or to have one of them die, or make mistakes, you are practically pointing the players to the exit instead of only showing the entrance. Overall, not that good of a game.

Stats:

Graphics: 5, Simple basic sprites, not even that good ones, either make this a worthy game, or don’t use sprites.

Style: 5, Didn’t have much of it, as I said before, an RPG, though painfully one sided, I mean, how many games do you know where you can’t lose?

Sound: 4, Some sound effects and a steady loop of sound in the background, nice but not enough, if I were you, more effects, and change the music once in a while.

Violence: 6, The fighting unfortunately counts though it was very shallow. As innovative as a dead end.

Interactivity: 3, Not even a play button, just straight to the fighting and then switching text. Not good.

Humor: 2, Not funny, not meant to be funny, but even if it was, it’s not.

Overall: 5, Average, I’ve seen worse on the portal, but I think you can do better, and if you have, please remove this title, by changing the title to deleteXx001 and switching the file to a blank screen, other entries you wish to delete are done the same, just with a rising number.

"Very well done."

This is truly a work of art, everything including the drawing, animation, sound were astounding. Also the plot is of the best I’ve seen. Voice actors were talented and knew their work very well. It was meant to be really serious so I don’t think a high score in humor is needed. Too bad there was no sequel I know of. Good luck with your next series after XIN, which like this, was great.

Stats:

Graphics: 9, good and professional drawings, simple yet effective animation, plenty of use of the tween feature but very well used and professionally used.

Style: 8, a very interesting plot that was executed. Interesting and captivating to any one.

Sound: 10, Voice and music were awesome. Music integrated very well and the voice actors did perfectly.

Violence: 0, None, no violence in a movie, how astounding, especially after watching so much of XIN

Interactivity: 2, It had a play button, but it needed more, a scene selector would have been great or a pause button since this is a long movie.

Humor: 4, I don’t think you meant it to have any real humor.

Overall: 9, Very good, near perfection, lacks to usual violence we are all used to from you but still good. Keep it up.
